I know I'm just grumpy, but I will no longer give this team any love for the 82 games they played well. The regular season means #### all, and they are an absolute joke when it matters.

I despise the NHL. The officiating certainly isn't to blame for this flop in the first ####ing round - but it definitely made hockey unbelievably terrible to watch. Missed calls, terrible calls, jaw dropping inconsistency and managing the game in all the wrong ways. Liberties are taken, and goals are never safe. That's putrid to watch, and if not for my fandom I would never watch this garbage.

I'm not going to make any proclamations for next year, but I can't say I'm looking forward to more of this. Being a Flames fan had a brief glimmer of hope - only to suffocate watching the worst hockey I've seen in a very long time. When it mattered. Finally.

This combination of players isn't built to succeed. Have to change a few pieces.

I think gaudreau could succeed in these games with a linemate that compliments him but with the type of game and the character that Monahan lacks.

I'm most disappointed in the lack of ability to change things up, play adaptively, show emotion and show leadership. They have played with zero dynamism in this series until this game, but they're still too shell shocked and afraid to play in synch with each other.

A very unfortunate end to the season. Hopefully some of the soft low iq players can be moved out in the off season.
