Time to steal this damn game away. And then shape up the team for real. Getting beat to every puck is not cutting it, and this team shows very little determination right now.

We’re being outplayed massively again. 1st line is so disappointing.
Really wish we had adjusted our style of play more. We can’t sustain pressure worth crap.
The main problem is not the Refs, but they dont help ....
Main problem is this:
Flames offense could score 5+ in the season and it didnt matter how many goals they got against them ... they didnt quit, and played hard in the offensive zone
Flames offense in the playoffs requires Mike Smith to get a shut out to win a game.... Even game 1 if he didnt stand on his head we would have lost ...

The refs are certainly not the only reason the Flames are struggling but they have had a major impact on the flow of this series. It would be one thing if a penalty was consistently a penalty and the Flames were just playing undisciplined, but the timing and nature of several of these calls is extremely suspect. There is no doubt that these calls have seriously influenced the results of these games.
