If Quebec pushed for pipelines, you'd be surprised how fast the federal government would decide that TransMountain was the in the national interest and pushed it through.

I think it’s a good strategy

Damn! Never thought of that and I have a lot of family in Quebec. By the way most them dislike Trudeau.

weird and outlandish rhetoric like this only furthers division in society
instead of making grandiose and histrionic assumptions before the dude has served a day in office, let's see what he offers. i didn't vote for kenney but he's been chosen overwhelmingly, and i still have faith in the albertan populace -- enough to give kenney a shot

I don’t think anyone has ever described Kenny as a cult of personality.

I'm not sure what the NDP platform will be next election after Kenny doesn't round up and deport all minorities, expose all LGBTQ people and doesn't "Americanize" healthcare.
They have four years to sew the seeds of fear in some other marginalized group though I guess.

I thought she gave a good speech. It's my hope that she holds Kenney to account and keeps him in check. I may not like Notley or her party but we do need a strong opposition to prevent what 44 years of no opposition did to the PC party and all the entitlement they had.

I do wish people would stop acting like this is a result of poor business climate. The world has changed a hell of a lot from when every worker with a computer needed an office building to work in. Corporations are moving to flexible work solutions, and most office workers no longer expect to be working in a physical office. The vacancy rate has as much to do with a changing business climate as it does with any downturn.

UPC needs to form the Alberta Revenue Agency tomorrow. The province needs to collect income tax immediately.
Quebec wants the same thing. The LPC have been begging them not to.
