Anybody who could vote for Mark Smith should feel bad about themselves, and I hope they never procreate.

Jeremy Nixon been trying to get elected in every federal, provincial, municipal election for the last 12 years or so. Wonder if he will actually pull it off now.

I didn't vote for Notley and I think her decisions in 15 16 and a bit of 17 were awful but I respect her. She showed pragmatic leadership all of last year that is increasingly rare for politicians, she's smart and capable. Instead of "packing her ####" I hope she sticks around to be a more than capable opposition leader to check the UCP's worst impulses (as much as possible for a majority)

I have a lot of respect for her. They didn’t expect to win and she had to cobble together a cabinet from that ragtag group. Sure, they threw gasoline on the fire and I couldn’t vote for her today, but I have a lot of respect for her nonetheless.

She actively destroyed the oil & gas industry in the first 2 years. Sure, she turned things around and became a decent leader for the last 2 (give credit where credit is due). But she couldn't even undo the damage her platform did, let alone create growth.

Well...more people voted for him in the polls counted thus far than for the other guy...
And Calgary Buffalo is traditionally a tough get for the Conservatives...heck, Sean Chu couldn't even win there!

Is a difference in the size of government of about 10% the difference between trump lite and the NDP?

It's his tagline in predicting trades and free agents moves. He told Mark Stone to pack his #### and go to Vegas. Neal to Calgary etc.
No need to be hyper sensative about it in that context, nor, tbh, even if he says it with intent. He can have an opinion like everyone and is under no obligation to be some moral compass to look up to just because he cameos with the Flames.
