Dress Valamaki and Kylington should dress next game. Brodie is horrible.

Will the next one from them the way they did in game 2 and you're back to home ice advantage.

####ing get it done Flames. Don't piss a conference winning year away. Don't set the team up for any more ridicule. Don't you dare. Don't want to remember the Flames of my 20s like this.

We kept them to 26 shots in the first game. Could be better, but that's a number you can win with.

56 shots against is not a number you can win with

Bennett is made for the playoffs, and him with Lindholm could add more offensive grit to the line that can be beneficial to Johnny since he's been completely neutralized by the tight checking.

Monahan is doing nothing in helping space open up for Gaudreau since the opposing teams don't view him as a threat at all.
bennett can also carry the puck up the ice and hang on to it in the offensive zone under pressure

I don’t know how much is coaching but Bednar looking smart.

Meanwhile strategy of Backlund chasing Mackinnon in Calgary worked beautifully. For the Avs. Our mobile D has been no advantage whatsoever so far..

Having flashbacks of the Gulutzan dark days. Give up the first goal on a chintzy penalty that turns into a 5-on-3, then the second on another weak call on Hathaway. Completely unravel after that. I don't think they've played a worse game all season.

The good news is that the series is exactly where it should be -- none of this, "we could have still won game 2" crap. Colorado has been the better team for two of the first three games, and they have a 2-1 series lead to show for it. The bad news is that Game 4 is a now must win -- fortunately it also gives Peters free rein to do whatever he thinks he needs to do to get them going.

Johnny is a ####ing #####. Take a hit to make a play. You have no excuse. Their are many nhl players includin your teammates Ryan and Mangipane that can do it.

Maybe eat a decent diet amd you could but on some muscle. #### your plain pasta and butter ,#### your ham and cheese.

Is this truly any of a real surprise though? If one is realistic and logical, look at how the last quarter of the season went. The Flames were average at best with their top line pretty much invisible. The Avs on the other hand were hot and were firing on all cylinders. I thought the Flames would be better than this but I did anticipate a close series.

Part of any sport is peaking at the right time. Throw in a team who seems to want it more and that is the difference.

Refs were partially to blame in my opinion. Calling those weak penalties really changed the face of the game, but shame on the Flames for giving up.

I really wanted to believe after the team blew a late goal lead, they didnt deserve. They would do what they said make the adjustments and we would see a team matching intensity and team pride. All I saw was guys unwilling to do what it took to win battles. Slow, slow, slow and no fight back after a garbage first period, or second period. I don't believe this team is willing to do what it will take to beat the Avs. I hope Treviling is watching and makes necessary off season changes to make not only a regular season threat, but a post season team.

Refs handed the AVS the momentum and a 2 goal lead, this is 100% true. The fact that the Flames let the game completely snowball afterwards and looked how they did from that point on us 100% on the Flames. Need to be much much better.

Wow, 18-7 high danger scoring chances according to Steinberg.

This team doesn't have enough size and grit for the playoffs.

Terribly disappointed in the game, and the team. Like many have said, it might be the worst game we have seen in years. I have hope for Game 4 but would not be surprised if it remains a show of weakness and inefficiency.

There better be a massive shake up for game 4, I'd like to see Gaudreau-Lindholm-Bennett and move down Monahan cause he's imo is just as bad as Gaudreau. Get rid of Jankowski on the third line for someone else. Bring in Valimaki and maybe Kylington (But I'm 100% sure Peters does not like Kylington). Game 4 will decide the fate of this series.

Next game I’d like to see Brodie and Fantenberg out, Valimaki and Prout in.

And this pains me to say but Neal out, Czarnik in. I’m done defending this guy. I’m wearing his jersey right now but he’s been horrible.

I’d be tempted to scratch Janko too.

It feels like the biggest adjustment by the Avs since Game 1 has been to greatly neutralize Smith's puck playing abilities on the dump in. Feels like ever since they solved this, it's been far too easy for them to gain the zone and keep sustained pressure.
