Wow, the Flames have completely unraveled here. Looking a lot like the Gulutzan Flames tonight, and that makes me sad. Don't think I've ever turned off a playoff game before (except maybe the 12-4 loss to the Kings in 1990). But man, it's hard to watch the team just fold up the tent like this.

Flames don’t appear to give a **** if they win this game or not. There is very little effort or desire in their play. Avs are winning every single battle. Add that the refs are calling bull crap penalties one way and absolutely nothing the other way and this game is effectively over.

Yeah, this isn't the refs being unfair. Flames are doing this to themselves completely, and Avs are taking advantage.

If the Flames special team could do their stuff, at least they would have a chance. But as was in the tail end of season, it's AWOL.

Just goes to show you can't discount how a team performs in the playoff stretch. It's fairly indicative of how they'll perform in the postseason.
