I feel the NHL has gone more strict in recent times. I could see 8-10 games. That’s just a play full of intent and he had a ton of time to hold up.

I'd bet 2. Clearly worse than Kucherov but no injury so hard to go much longer. Could see 3 if they want to play up the repeat offender aspect.

He got three for doing something stupid in the playoffs against Boston last year. I think he's getting more than three for sure. The guy is a good player but he's a real moron.

How come Kooch had his suspension announced the next day but the Leafs have to wait an extra day?

I do agree with the first poster on this page that the refs should take some of the blame. But it's still Kadri's idiotic decision and he should be punished. I'm hoping 3 games but it's likely 5.

If you get a chance watch the rough stuff highlights on SN YouTube. It's hilarious the stuff they were letting go.

I wouldn't put it past the Flames. They have shown interest in Kadri in the past but that was when Burke (drafted him) was involved. Depending on how the playoffs go I wouldn't count out Treliving making more big moves at the draft.

Kucherov’s situation also was in doubt (0-2 games were all potential possibilities) but we know Kadri’s gone for a few. The wait doesn’t affect the team much for the next several days, but obviously is anxious for the fans.

Also probably good that Ana’s had an extra day to cool off before the hearing.
