Sick reference, bro. Your references are out of control. Everyone knows that.

I didn't realize this was a job interview.

Who was the poster that used to line up pucks on the mantelpiece?
I'd like to see the first Avs puck turned down.

Watching the highlights, Smith was more solid than spectacular. Most of his great saves were shot right into his glove. The only great save was McKinnon’s rush in the 3rd.

Smith was flashing the leather after lots of them. You can tell he’s confident.

Speaking of Backlund, over 23 minutes of ice time which lead all flames forwards. Also went 65% in the dot. Pretty much neutralized MacKinnon tonight. Kudos to him.

Well that was fun. I hope those smitty chants came through on the TV. His stop on Maccannot was huge. Hamilton’s stick on the two on one was also huge. Mangiapane withbfhw game winner, pretty rad. Overall loved the game,

And if you had club seats and didn’t bother to watch the whole game, eff off you asshatsbb

I lost my voice at the game... What am I gonna do at Game 2? And here's a real dilemma: should I wash my red underwear and red socks for Game 2 or should I keep'em safe and wear them again?

DAG/4th line critical to our game changing momentum shift in the 2nd.

Mangiapane goal followed by Hathaway drawing a penalty on his crossbar shot that led to Tkachuk goal.

Hanifan struggled a bit but first ever playoff game. Andersson was super poised.

High danger chances must have favored Avs. Series might not go long but every game will be a battle!

Game Takes:
Flames 4 Avalanche 0

Flames lead series 1-0

- Smith posts the shut out
- Backlund gets it done against McKinnon
- Tkachuk pots two
- Mangiapane the winner!
