TSN with great post game coverage. They’ve been on the Flames for the entirety of the first 15 minutes of SC.

Because a professional athlete should be able to perform without people patting him on the back.

He was the first star. Probably the first start of the night across all three games.

I wasn't trying to knock Smith...he was great
Flames were full marks though, especially in the 2nd half of the game. Smith made a couple MASSIVE saves on that PP to start the 2nd. After that the Avs had very few high danger chances. Smith made all the saves when they did though and was great handling the puck.

That Zadorov play on Johnny at the end was pure garbage. Had his leg sticking out the entire time.

The Avs appear to be a one line hockey club. Given the ice time of the trio, it could become a factor if the series goes 5-6 games. It's as if Bednar has no confidence in his other lines/

Phenomenal. Just a tiny nitpick: Detroit series in 04 was only 6 games.

Game 6 and it was the end of the first overtime. That was the best game I've ever been to, pretty sure my hearing was permanently damaged ... and I've seen AC/DC a few times.
