I'll be going on Sat but the people going Thurs you gotta set the tone for the playoffs! GFG for the whole 60 minutes lets go!
I will be going tomorrow, and rest assured, my friend has a foghorn of a voice and said he would be wearing a sign to work that said "Can't talk, saving voice for playoffs".

I live in Vancouver and I feel so lonely being a Flames fan here.
Anyone know a pub or place that has a lot of Flames fans or Flames games?
Shark Club should be decent, especially since there's no Canucks games.
Unfortunately I'm not aware of any bars that are owned by Flames fans, one of us may have to open one.
I have a retail level business in the Olympic Village and would be down to host a viewing for one of the games if there's enough interest. Have 3 TV's, tons of beer and space.

Yesterday felt like Christmas Eve. The start of the Playoffs, just silently anticipating this day would come for the last year, and man it's been a long and exciting year.
But now here we are, Christmas morning, and we all get to witness these Calgary Flames, who dominated the NHL all season, have a historic year with so many rich storylines, with incredible characters and a deep supporting cast, finally make take this to the next stage. The Stanley Cup playoffs.
It feels like I've been watching a movie for the last 8 months, but it was a series and we are getting part 2 right now.
Credit to whoever made this.
Go Flames Go! Show the Avalanche, and the rest of the NHL what you're made of Calgary.

Sweet thanks! I'd definitely come to one of your viewing parties if you ever held one!
I'm superstitious about making a pick in a Flames series. I'm especially superstitious about picking the Flames to win, and even more especially superstitious about picking the Flames to win in 6.
Therefore, Flames in 6.

I am sure there will be some pushback from Colorado tomorrow night, but I honestly wonder how much more they have to give. Grubauer did what they needed him to do for the most part. MacKinnon and Landeskog played great. I thought their powerplay had good looks. Rantanen can probably play better, but I don't think it is realistic to expect much more from their depth players.
On the other side, as good as the Flames were in the second half of last night's game, it feels like they still have another level. I thought they struggled to get into a rhythm to start with all the special teams play, the top line was pretty quiet, and Hanifin in particular was clearly suffering some first-playoff-game jitters. I expect MUCH better performances from all of these guys tomorrow.
Like I said, I think the Avalanche will mount a push, but I just don't see how they can win a game in Calgary.

I agree that there will be push back for sure. Teams usually don't just roll over and give up during the playoffs. That being said, we have to do more of the same and minimize time in the box, shots on net, and get all 4 lines rolling with some scoring. I liked how we took the body early last night. Not something you usually saw with this team during the year, but keep on them physically and wear down that top line is gonna have to be the plan.
