Ya it's too bad Denver is remote...that's the nice thing about playing Anaheim is there are 5 or 6 airports within 3 hours we can fly direct to. The not nice part is that we've lost every time |

It’s only a 16 hour drive, that’s not too bad if there’s 4 drivers taking shifts

Hmm.I may have to get serious about this.
Flight, hotel and game ticket equal total of $337US from Chicago. This is pretty cheap, relatively speaking.

 This is for game 4

I did it in 12 from Lethbridge. It was an easy drive.

2 buddies and myself will be at Game 3.

As soon as the days/times were announced on Sunday, I bought that flight as I was tracking it feeling it would go up that day...and lo and behold that's what happened. Kinda crappy that they are indeed basically a grand now.

We'll be there Sun-Tues and sitting in the first bowl...tickets in the first bowl were much much more reasonable than Calgary. I think <$250 CAD per person for centre ice and a low-mid row.

Super stoked, hoping we start off the series right at home to make it a good one!

I'm an hour north year round and I have my tickets for game 3. Section 122, row 16 seats 1 and 2.

...And my ax! You better believe I'll be there. I plan on going to games 3 and 4 ( and hopefully that's all we need). Haven't got tickets yet, but I will try to get the visitor area (section 124 lower bowl).

What's the visitor area? Haven't heard of that.

I’m very probable for game 4. Is there a section known to contain flames fans? We could get a chant going and some righteous high fives.

It's just the lower bowl behind the Visitor's bench. I've seen a lot of Flames fans usually get their tickets there. I remember one game where they had Flames fans taking up the back 2 rows.

Since I haven't got my tickets yet, I'm down for gathering in a place where other CPers are going to be. Let me know if there is a preferred section. More strength in numbers!

Note: Avs fans are usually chill and pretty harmless - although I've never been to the Pepsi Center for a playoff game. Just the regular season stuff.

That has been my experience as well, but like you never been there for a playoff game (against the Flames).

I think in general if you stick to cheering for your team and not be antagonistic there are no problems.

I need help, I'm in full jersey panic here in Denver.
I send my '04 red back to the FanAttic to be Iginla'd, my '89 Lanny replica is still on order, and tx for game 3 & 4 just fell in my lap. All I have is a team signed white pedestal jersey in the closet (really do not want to wear it).

The only 'Flames' items I can find locally are pucks.

Anyone coming down from Calgary that could do me a solid? Pick me up a Retro Gio? I'd PayPal you in advance.

BTW, Flames games are great here. Not quite like being a dirty Leafs are at the 'Dome, but pretty close.
On top of the Pepsi Center, I've seen the Flames in Vancouver, Edmonton, Toronto, and Phoenix... I'd say it's a tie with the 'Chuck for best out of town Flames experience.
