Well CBJ gets a gift from Tampa. I can guarantee that won't happen again in this series. A team as good as Tampa Bay won't be blowing 3 goal leads on a regular basis.
That being said, momentum is everything. The Jackets have it now, so Tampa is going to have to have a very strong next game to turn it back in their favor.
I still think Tampa wins this series walking away, but I've been wrong before.

Christ, I gave up on the game at 3-0 TBL. Watching the highlights, looks like a great comeback. Good thing the other 2 games are also wicked good or I'd be upset.
CBJ givin TBL a run for the money like I thought!

Insert Seinfeld “that’s a shame” gif here because I apparently can’t.
There we go.

So happy to hear the Bolts lost. It's probably not likely, but I hope Columbus surprises everybody and ends up somehow winning this series. F*** Tampa.

Hey I mean I had my money on Boston to be the team to take out the Lightning.... Don't mind losing money if it's Columbus to do it a round earlier

For all the non-Flames series, nothing would put a smile on my face like seeing Tampa get knocked out.
Well done Blue Jackets, keep the good vibes coming.

See this every year. One game does not define the series.

The rest of the series will boil down to which Bobrovsky shows up to play. 1st period Bob was very Brian Elliott esque. Then he turned on God mode as Tampa appeared to take their foot off the gas a bit. They still have some great chances though and he was sharp. If that 2nd and 3rd period Bob shows up the rest of the way then Columbus definitely has a shot.
Still... My gut says that the Lightning just learned a very good lesson in their first playoff game of the year and they probably won't let that happen again.

A short handed breakaway, a guy left all alone to collect a rebound, and a deflection.
Nothing like Elliot. Reserve this insult for a softy from the corner.

Except for the times that it does. This was a big win for Columbus. Here’s hoping they can manage three more.

2 inconsistent statements, which diminishes the value of either.
Was great to witness Columbus pull this out. Seemed obvious Tampa has this series but what an unexpected and fun start.

I can't help but like Tortorella. The guy is passionate. Him and Hartley were a fun pair back when they were facing off against each other.

That was one of the best 8 minutes of hockey I can remember. Goal to make it close. Kill off the first half of a 4 minute power play and then score a shorty to tie it up. Pot the game winner on the PP. fantastic. THATS WHAT PLAYOFFS ARE ALL ABOUT BABY!

The guy is a really good coach. I was always a little miffed how many people wrote him off for that one season in Vancouver where he was set up to fail.
