Exactly. There's absolutely zero chance he is 100%. He will have a gigantic target on him, and I fully expect the Flames to go out of their way to make his life difficult.

Rittich has an incredible set of stats on the road. Maybe they go with Smith home, Rittich away, unless Smith is absolutely on fire.

No way they rotate unless one of them has a HUGE stinker, probably 2 in a row.

It's funny how many people think Peters would give only backup reps to a goalie the practice before the POs, on the off chance he could fool the opposition, which would, in turn, move the needle on the game by what... a fraction, for a minute or so?
The sum total of that move, IMO would be the Avs saying "Hey - that's Rittich in net. I guess we can dump it in more". And the game would then proceed.

Taking a while to get to 5000

And yet Peters himself won't name the starter even though we all know its Smith.
Headgames are headgames.

There are at least a couple folks out there (Eric Duhatschek, Brent Krahn) who think they'll use both goalies by design.

Doubt there is much of a difference in 'reps' between the goalies in a practice. The starter goes to one net and the backup goes to the other - that is how the reporters assume who is going to start.

Would rather play Valimaki or Kylington over both Stone and Prout, hopefully that’s not an indication that Prout is a above Valimaki on the depth chart. Don’t like that

I mean...
- regular jersey = dressing for game 1
- no contact jersey = not dressing for game 1
Are they...
- putting him in a regular jersey even though he's not ready, just to make us think he's dressing
- putting him in a regular jersey because he actually is ready
My underlying questions...
- Would a team actually do that?
- Is a team even allowed to do that?
- Does risk/reward equate to enough of a benefit to even do it in the first place?
- If a Rantanen falls in a forest, and the Oilers are out of the playoffs, does the City of Vancouver even riot?

I recall there are plenty of one ended drills that only involve one goalie.

Oh, we always riot. It's only to what degree.
4/20 is coming up, and the group are still planning to hold it as a "protest event for legalization" despite the legalization of cannabis so that they don't have to pay security, clean-up and park land restoration fees.

Didn't Bennett just have the 'stache when he got injured? Wasn't that ~3 weeks ago? what kind of beard-growing superpowers does he have?

It would be interesting if they just kept rotating the goalies like they did in the regular season. Has anyone even tried using a regular rotation in the playoffs?
