I heard Rick Ball on the radio earlier this week with Pat and he confirmed that he's calling the Flames games for the 1st round, at least.

He got a second round series last year. I’d be surprised if he doesn’t get a conference final this year. He is the best they have.

Debrusk is pretty good on Flames broadcasts. I can’t recall any Oilers talk bleeding in. I’d put him even with Cassie.

FWIW, home games will be
Game 1 - Thursday, April 11 (starting between 7-8)
Game 2 - Saturday, April 13 (starting between 7-8)
Game 5 - Friday, April 19 (starting between 7-8)
Game 7 - Tuesday, April 23 (starting between 7-8)
I’m sure this will be released today but I can confirm to a mod my source.

I hope that Good Friday is in the evening as we are hosting dinner, and that would make for a great post-dinner cap to the night. I could see the Sunday one being in the afternoon, although I would prefer evenings for all of them.

Saturday 830 pm start. And all others at 8pm. Double headers for tv. At least it's every 2nd day, no 2 day breaks for tv purposes.

It will probably depend on other series going on
Sunday afternoon is an nbc thing, and I imagine their priority would be the series with the bigger american markets
Plus sportsnet has some pull and after the leafs the Calgary series is their biggest priority, bigger audience over the jets
Be surprised if round 1 sees an afternoon game

At least we didn’t get Ransdorf. Jets fans can listen to him lament about Connor’s knee injury for the 5 games it might take them to lose to STL.
Hopefully the plan is to start the Flames games on SN when the Leafs games go long, or they decide to let Cherry pontificate on why the Leafs lost for 40 minutes post game. If the start of the Flames game gets shunted to 360 or whatever, I’ll be pissed. But I would have to think even Sportorontonet can figure that out. Unless of course, there is some thrilling Raptors action the whole nation needs a to see.
