Oilers win means -2 lottery points as they leapfrog the Rangers for 25th overall. Still second last in the conference though.

Bring on the playoffs!

Glad no Flames were hurt. Get everyone healthy for the playoffs.

Rittich played most against the Avs. I really think he starts.

Going to be nice to watch Flames play meaningful hockey again. The last 3 games felt almost like preseason games. Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that they were able to put themselves in a situation where they didn't have to stress the last few games of the season. But entertainment value wise, it definitely wasn't the best.

would have liked to have seen Johnny get to 100 points... the loss is strictly meh...not having Monny and tkachuk would have probably helped him get to that plateau...

Rittich played them well. I think he should too, as long as coach Peters likes what he sees in practice.

So do they still have a chance at the lottery? Unbelievable if they do. I'm just gonna automatically assume that they're gonna get the #1 pick again, because Oilers. What a f'n joke of a franchise.

Which means 100% chance they win the first overall pick.

Elliotte just said xrays were negative and Conner is going home with the team and will have a MRI tomorrow.

Glad this game is over with no major injuries. Frankly no one on the Flames is putting any weight into this game, chances are they just wanted this game over with and they've already forgotten it because honestly, its meaningless.

Bring on the AVS

Yes. He's not injured in any way. Nothing wrong. Nothing to see here. Move along. Move along.

After looking at the video I would have to think it’s possibly a PCL tear. I had a similar injury in hockey as well and mine was a Grade 3 PCL and grade 2 LCL tear. When the shin is pushed back like that in a collision, the PCL is the one that bears the brunt of the impact.

I can’t see it being an ACL tear as usually that is associated with a twisting type impact or movement. If there is a ligament to have damage, the PCL is one that is easier to come back from and at times surgery isn’t even done. For surgery on a PCL tear isn’t always successful.

X-ray would just show negative on a break. MRI will show the ligament info.

Oh and I am still not confident in Smith as the playoff starter.
