I agree with Burke here.. not sure about the shot clock, but they do need to do something about the killing time in overtime.

they should have an over and back kind of penalty... either at the blue line or red line...something that prevents the team from slowing things down and resetting...by going backwards too far...
not sure how to do it, but its a game of keep away rather than attacking
