Just noticed the dates have been updated for Round 1 on my season ticket holders account to:
Home Game A: Thursday April 11
Home Game B: Saturday April 13
Home Game C (if required): Friday April 19
Home Game D (if required):Tuesday April 23
They still say 'to be confirmed' but with the Hitmen and Roughnecks games next week I'm confident at least Games A & B won't change. Also, we now have the option to post the first 3 games for sale on Ticketmaster.

That date for Game #5 still can't be right. The NHL is not going to schedule four playoff games in five nights.

Friday the 19th looks right. Blankcanvas has the dates for games 1 and 2 wrong. Those should be 11 and 13. That means games 3 & 4 can be on 15 and 17, putting game 5 on the 19th, game 6 on the 21st, and game 7 on the 23rd.

^ I'd take that. Selfishly, that all jives pretty nicely with my own schedule. I assume that most, if not all, games will be 7:30 or 8:00 starts because there won't be any time zone differences.
The one that could be at an odd time is if the 19th is true - Good Friday. Americans seem to like afternoon hockey more than Canadians do, but CBC/Sportsnet would get a lot more eyeballs watching it if it were in the evening.

Seeing that really has me hoping the series is Flames in 5. Series clinching win on a Friday when there was no work leading up to game time.

This is now basically a done deal; the Nuggets would have to lose all four of their remaining games and the Jazz would have to win all four. So they're very likely starting at home.

Never know though. Leafs and Jets may start Thursday and Leafs and CBC and NBC (who will also want the Saturday game in Boston) get preferential treatment. So, they may want a Canadian team on opening night, which would be the Flames.

Hitmen play Tuesday and Wednesday night at the Saddledome and Roughnecks were moved from Saturday to Friday so I think Thursday and Saturday are a safe bet.
