100% agree, unfortunately. He had NO idea where he was.

That's pretty amazing, considering (as I just posted) that he looked completely lost on the ice after the hit.

That’s good to hear, unless it’s just to keep other teams unaware or guessing for the playoffs

Hes doesn't play if he doesn't pass protocol. So I'm thinking he got winded hard. I've had similar reactions being winded.

I generally take Peters at his word, but I'm not sure how he can say that so soon.

That does not mean you are concussed.

Yeah being winded can have a similar response from personal experience. Concussion symptoms can show themselves after some time though. Doesn’t have to be right away for the protocol basis

Best case scenario.

It's happened to me in hockey too. Get rocked so hard your legs turn to spaghetti but it doesn't always mean a concussion. Just winded and thank christ

Eric Francis @EricFrancis
“(Sam Bennett) is fine... we dodged a bullet.” - Bill Peters. Indeed, I saw Bennett in the dressing room and he seemed okay.

There’s no dodging a bullet, he was hit hard enough to look like jello man leaving the ice.

This had better not be on top of a previous concusion keeping him out already the end of the year.

That can happen just from getting winded. Guy is so competitive he tried to get up and got one hell of a head rush

He obviously went through the concussion protocols, must have passed with out any issue. Probably held out the rest of the game just in case and so things didn't escalate. MacDermid also didn't play a shift after the hit.

Just because you get rocked...does not mean you are concussed.
