You don't need to get hit in the head to get concussed.
A big hit to the body will do it.

You don’t get concussed from “clean” hits very often at all..
Shoulder to head/face when I replay it.
The issue with the hit for me is it was predatory and on purpose for Pouty being a big #####.

There’s an unwritten rule to not flatten players in meaningless games, especially a blind side hit. Not illegal but LA is a dirtbag team so it’s not surprising
