Something small...
For cleaning frost off windows in the morning, snow brushes suck. I was able to completely clean the frost off the windows in less than half the time with an old gift card today. That made me happy.

Got laid off Feb 21 after being given a month notice at end of January (damn mining industry.. man that was a tough month) but just accepted a new position starting on March 18th! Woohoo!

Where did you buy this?
I have a flag pole apparatus attached to my front drive garage and it would be awesome to hang something like that on it.

I bought a Flames flag this past afternoon and decided to hang last night to see how it looks. The plan is to hang it during the playoffs for good luck and piss off any Oiler fans in the area.

Moving to the city from a small town up north. I'm excited to be able to go to different restaurants, take a flight on a long weekend, and generally just have more options. I'm bored, even though I've tried to make the best of my time (dirt biking, fishing etc).

Finding an unused wand-wash multi bay facility in the morning, and really taking my time cleaning the winter off my car. No rush, no one behind me, only one other car pulled up in the 45 minutes I spent in the bay.

While it would be hard for me to move back to a small town now there are still a number of things I miss about living in one. Everything takes so much longer to do in the city compared to a small town so your time is at much more of a premium now. And you have to plan so far ahead for so many things it is hard to be spontaneous as well. Small towns have a lot going for them but I completely understand your excitement too.

Yeah I'm, a small town guy myself. Moving back to Calgary was fun for about a month, then I got tired of how long it takes to do ANYTHING.
