Every time I go on a Tinder date, the flames win a biggie. Now I think I've found a girl I like but the question is, do I keep serial dating throughout the playoffs?
I feel I owe it to the team and the city and yes I will serial date if necessary during the playoffs.
If you like her, just explain that you have to tee up every date through Tinder. If she doesn't understand, dump her like yesterday's garbage.

If we have Ryan on the ice during the playoffs he will single handedly cost us 1 to 2 goals a game. He's hardly ever in the right spot and rarely makes a good play. Constant liability out there. Goal 2 was definitely stoppable and goal 5 was no one's fault but his, as he turned the puck over in the first place and created the chance/shot and that's even worse than just not stopping a shot that he should have.

The early 2010's were pretty bleak. We had an aging Iginla & Kipper & a thin prospect pool. I honestly didn't know where this team was gonna be once the Iggy & Kipper era ended and we began to finally rebuild in 2013. That year we drafted Sean Monahan. Two drafts earlier we picked Johnny Gaudreau. Mikael Backlund & TJ Brodie came into their own. Gio took over as captain and continued his excellence as the leader of the team. In 2016, we drafted Matthew Tkachuk. Add some decent signings & trades and this is what we have. It's a great feeling.

Also, is it just me, or are the Flames the lowest profile 2nd seed in the NHL in a long time?
When listening to pundits pontificate on the playoffs, I keep reading about how San Jose and Vegas are dangerous. Vegas is supposed to be the team to beat in the west. St Louis is a team "no one wants to face". San Jose was getting all kinds of adulation when they had won 7 straight, and Winnipeg and Nashville are top teams and still favorites despite recent struggles.
Calgary is leading the West by EIGHT points and have goal differential that's THIRTY goals better than second place Winnipeg.
Boston and Toronto apparently are the second and third best teams in the league and it's a shame they're facing each other in the first round.
Only 7 teams in the last ten years have had a better goal differential. That puts Calgary in the top 8 of 302 teams for goal differential (assuming it doesn't drop significantly in the last 3 games).
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I haven't heard anyone talk about them as a favorite to win the West even, nevermind the Cup
