This is great. We get to see the Avs and Yotes play their hearts out for a few meaningful games and scout them for a little longer. I'm not hoping for injuries, but I am hoping for some wear and tear that will carry over into round 1

Also remarkable how few injuries we have right now. I think Bennett could be a very important player for us in playoffs...I hope he has a good week of rehab. Can't eliminate any new injuries, but can avoid them with smart play and rotating the lineup.

Home ice baby!

What a season. From missing the playoffs, to best in conference.

Let the playoffs begin. Keep the good times rolling.

Neal was awesome tonight. Smith makes me nervous as hell on every shot.

Congratulations on the western conference and Pacific titles flames. Well deserved. I hope they realize the opportunity here and have a strong run. As a flames fan, seeing deep playoff runs are rare, let's pray this year is different.

Any word on Bennett? I am really excited to see his physical play at work come opening round.

I wonder what the final 3 games will look like in terms of healthy scratches.

Does Bill Peters get any Jack Adams consideration?

I got 'em at 60-1 in June. Gave em out to family and friends as a souvenir. Looking really good.

First out of 15 teams in the West. Coming from the abomination of last season.

One hell of an accomplishment Flames.

That +61 goal differential looks awfully good.

What a fun year
Great to see the team elevate their game for an important game like this one

Not in the world of radio for sure..the talk on NHL radio (I listen on Sirius when on the highway) is Trotz or Cooper. (Or occasionally Tocchet if Arizona makes it.)

But why not? Peters has done as good a job as any of those - and arguably started with a lot less "team". Ari might scrape in but the Flames won their Conference FCOL.

It can’t be understated. Going into the arena of the team directly chasing you, knowing you can clinch with a win, and actually do it? For a long time, this is a time that relied on others to just get them into the playoffs, losing games where they could control their own fate and waiting it out hoping someone else loses

This was different, and it was awesome.
