Just painful to watch. Had that last point won, as well.

Ugh why rush a shot like that against a guy who can't move? Damn Felix. Killing yourself today.

I mean law of averages says Isner has to lose this breaker right? Even for a servebot winning 9 in a row in the same tournament is crazy.

If you'd said Felix would break Isner's serve twice today before the match, you'd take it. Something pretty positive to take here anyway.

Definitely a very painful loss, Felix is already clearly the much better player at everything but serving and it's not like Isner turned it up in those games Felix served for the set, it was choking pretty much. But as disgusting as servebots are they will never disappear because it's an effective, if highly offensive, way of playing. If there's any lesson for Felix it's to hit the practice courts for nonstop serving practice.

I can say fairly certainly that we'll see him in another masters final before the year is out. Bring on the servebot kryptonite aka clay!

Effectively, Felix was the better player against a top 10 opponent in a masters 1000 semifinal, and only lost because he beat himself. A bit more experience and he'll get there.

I mean Isner being the top men's player for the US is why women's tennis is more popular in the US. Nobody enjoys watching a guy reach a final without a single set where he won the minimum six games. He's gonna be the second choice Sunday regardless of who he plays.

Federer will put him down to a tune of 6-4 6-4 i'm sure. No way that guy is getting caught up in the moment like these two teenagers are inclined to do. The lefty effect Shapo has could also pose some problems for Isner on service and returns but i'm not sold that his serve will hold up in tiebreaks against this guy either should he make it.

Clay season will be upon us soon and Felix likes the dirt - He has a great chance to be seeded at the French Open if he continues this fine run of play.

I'd actually like to see Isner beat Roger just to see if he got booed. Think there's a decent chance, he didn't get any love when they played in the US Open a few years ago.
