So due to a cold 1/4 of the season where he is still ppg when it is all said and done means we should/could consider trading him?

Who is this line driving cente we are swapping him for? If we are swapping him for a better player than that player is likely 30+ or the trade doesn’t exist. Less than 6.5M for 30 goals and 75 points is hard to come by

Perhaps you missed the post on page 2, where he was called a troll ...or even the post on this page where he was referred to as a troll....this was ‘respectful’ was it?

No I didn’t miss the word ‘most’ but that’s not accurate, as I believe even a cursory glance of this thread will attest

I feel as if this "playoff" mentality is self-fulfilling. Everyone talks about how tough it'll be to score, how the games are closer down the stretch, how you've got to go to the dirty areas, blah, blah, blah: and then lo and behold, team can't score.

We didn't play a grinding game when we were winning. Wish we'd get out of that mindset.

Honestly it was 1 poster who managed to change the narrative of hockey talk and make it about himself. He goes by TheScorpion and he's a teenage tryhard who is so ####ing annoying it drove me off the site. I know for a fact that several longtime posters stopped posting because of the kid and moderators felt the need to babysit.

Yeah this nerd is like 16 and talks about former flames before he was even born like he knows what he's talking about. He is the biggest try hard on the site.

If you're 16 you know absolutely nothing. You barely have pubes, stop pretending you know former flames. Dudes favorite player was Blair Jones. He has a Versteeg jersey. Kid is clueless and should stick to watching cartoons in his mom's basement.

It is accurate, most people have been respectful. Some have shown their frustration with Love's ongoing axe to grind and troll-ish history - no one is bullying or "mob-lynching" him though.

I'm always amazed when people get in such a snit over a forum that they can choose to read and post on or not. Completely within their control.
Discussions on here can get heated, and sometimes in the course of that people cross a line. But for the most part people get the amount of respect that they offer.
Meaning if you are a dick, people are probably going to be a dick back to you.
So when a poster basically takes a shot at the entire fan base, are we surprised at the reaction?

This is not an isolated event, it’s a pattern of behaviour. Heck, I’ve got my very own groupie that is so upset by my take on a certain player, that he/she follows me around the board responding to posts with that players name in completely unrelated threads (see my sig). It’s always the same people, the “annointed ones”, and it needs to stop. I’m calling for Bingo to intervene.
