Pretty sure it sits at 3 Flames regulation/OT wins to clinch #1.

So a SJ loss tonight brings it down to 2. Beat ANA and SJ loses to Vegas to clinch.

Should the Sharks lose tonight:

1. Flames. 5 games remaining, 101 points, 47 ROW, 1-2-0 record vs. SJ, +54 goal diff.

2. Sharks. 5 games remaining, 95 points, 43 ROW, 2-1-0 record vs. CGY, roughly +25 goal diff.

It would be really good for the Flames if they could beat the Sharks and even off that third tiebreaker. Otherwise, if the Sharks lose tonight, I think the Flames would need exactly two more regulation/OT wins to seal the conference. With two more wins, the Flames would be at 105 points (the Sharks can reach 105 at max.). If both were in either regulation or overtime, the Flames would have 49 ROW, an unattainable number for the Sharks. At that point, the third and fourth tiebreakers would be unnecessary.

Edit: LOL, AC beat me to it. Here's hoping the Hawks win!

Sure Radulov walks thru our guys but coughs it up at the blue line and almost results in an EDM goal.

If the Sharks lose in regulation tonight (by no means a given, because the Hawks are terrible defensively), all the Flames would need would be a regulation win in SJ.

There is the difference with our superstar and McSuperstar. Up 2 in a relatively meaningless game, P. Kane chases down a 2 on 1 with a backcheck. Never would see that in an Oil game.

F these idiots.
Man if you think that was bad you should have heard the Oiler radio guys, Jack Michaels and Bum Stuffer after McDavids goal. It was such a disgusting, nauseating homerific display of homerism. They spent the next 15 minutes declaring that McDavid is the greatest player the NHL has ever seen!! Yep he so great that he’s about to miss the playoffs for the third time in his four year career.

2014 7th round pick Victor Olofsson debuted for the Sabres tonight, a late call up after an excellent year in Rochester. I always enjoy seeing the really long long shots make it to the show. And he got his first point too.

When you can smile like McDavid, you don't need to backcheck.
