Taking a while to get to 5000

Fantenberg has been terrific. Knows when to get the puck out and where to put it. Also isn't afraid to throw a hit. Played a little on the right side in L.A. too I believe so he could be the #6 next season for under a million.

Fantenberg will most likely be Stone's replacement next season. Quiet but steady d man that does his job without much fan fare. I like what I see so far.

Yep, Bingo nailed it earlier:

I had the depth chart as the obvious top four, Andersson becoming an every day guy as the 5th, and then Brodie being the swing defender that allows you get get Kylington or Stone in depending on the opposition and how Stone recovers.
Thought Fantenberg and Prout were depth for a fingers crossed long drive.
But through three games the Flames are absolutely killing it when he's on the ice, albeit with some pretty heady zone start stats.
Is he a) the answer for the third pairing this year and b) someone to look at signing?

First line looked terrible the first two periods - huge defensive liability!!! Started looking a little better in the third though.
Best line - 2nd line
Second best line - 4th line
Third best line - third line
Fourth best line - 1st line
I could also see mangiapane moving up to second line next game. He was lights out tonight!!!

He took a slapper from the point that was just wired tonight for the top corner until it hit Frolik. Didn’t know he had a cannon like that.
