Pretty frustrating game to watch. I am of the mind that if this ridiculous non-goal and the one called back against Minny a couple games ago were allowed to correctly (IMO) stand, we'd be looking at a 2-1 record over the last 3 and not 0-3.

Well, move on to Arizona, at least if we lose, we screw the Oilers.

Why you might be correct about the goals, the extra goal last night isn’t worth two, so it only puts them in OT.

We are 0-4 in Vegas, been outscored 15-4.

It’s just not the refs.

I thought this was a great game, as long as one stayed out of the game thread.

Video review is fundamentally flawed. The object is to get the call right, while maintaining the integrity and spirit of the game. It routinely does none of the three.

Rittich kicking out some rebounds early, but by the third period was really smooth. Really solid game. Just what was needed.

Crying about officiating is unbecoming.

The sky is not falling.

8-6-2 since the break. A nice win streak sandwiched by 2 bad streaks feels like Gulutzan hockey

Did not lose this game because of the refs. Scoring chances heavily favored the knights. I personally don’t remember many high danger scoring chances from the flames.

Likely? As of late any goal the Flames score when a Flames player touches the the goaltender in any manner has been overturned. I don't think the Flames are going to stop going to the net in the playoffs to yeah I would say there's a very good chance the Flames will have a goal or two called back in the playoffs. It's a very unfortunate call by the people in Toronto but it only cost the Flames one or two regular season points which at this point of the season isn't the end of the world. In the playoffs however it could be the difference between winning or losing a series and to me that's frightening.

So far my favorite reactions are to sit our top goal scorer and #1 C, Backlund is poison in the offensive zone, and that this years Flames are similar to last years GG Flames.

Every team slumps and it’s up to your top guys to pull them out. And they will.

TBay is having a historic season so I hope their slump happens in the playoffs.

Yep I agree, Flames are most definitely slumping....

Power play looked off, Flames had a hard time getting into the zone.

1st line is not clicking

Monahan looks really off, hope he is not injured.

I think he's simply in a slump. The team is comfortably in a playoff position and I have to think the team would be sitting him if he was injured rather than ride him into the ground like last season.

Back from the game. My thoughts:
- Vegas definitely goes above and beyond to engage the fans. Some stuff was certainly cheesy, pulling the Excalibur sword out of the stone at center ice and the flames knight bowing to the golden knight, but they definitely have a good time
- There were ton of flames fans there! (I very clearly heard the C and RED in the anthem)
- Knights fans were nice (way better than Anaheim and La), I had to educate a few of them on how icing works etc
- Flames looked super sloppy and way too cute with little passes. Passing was not crisp at all, they looked slow
- that overturned goal was a joke. My buddy who was there with me is a die hard NFL fan but not much of a hockey fan. He said “this is bad for hockey and bad for fans” Nailed it.
- I was pumping Johnny up for my buddies but he was a pretty big let down. Looks like going through the motions right now, disappointing.
- Rittich stop with the fancy ass puck playing, you’re not Mike Smith and even if you were you should still stay in your damn net
- 3rd period magic looks dead now. I was also pumping up how awesome we are in the 3rd and they sure looked flat again
- Overall fun game, disappointing result. Before the game I told my buddies that I would be ok with a loss today if it meant the flames won the cup, so I took one for the team today, you’re welcome!

How in the world is that a goalie interference call? Not only does he make the save he MIGHT have been interfered on, he then moves, sees the puck, moves a bit more, sets, reacts and almost stops it. Without MT being anywhere near him.

What a BS call.
Take another look if you think he was set for the shot the went in LOL.

Not to suggest the goal should have been called back, but he was anything but set.

Lots of posters need to take a deep breath after a loss. It was a well played game and very even game. They snuck one through from the point in the 3rd and we hit traffic every shot.

Rittich played well. We'll win tonight.

Bennett-Backlund-Gaudreau
Lazar-Lindholm-Jankowski
Hathaway-Monohan-Dube
Foo-Ryan-Tkachuk

Maybe a complete shakeup will wake these guys up.

After Sunday's game in Vegas - the Flames have 3 games left against team's currently in a playoff spot (WPG, DAL, SJ) and 9 against team's that are dead in the water (NJ, NYR, OTT, VAN, LA x2, ANA x2, EDM).

Here's the Sharks next 7 games - Montreal, St. Louis, Minnesota, Winnipeg, Florida, Nashville, Vegas (six of 7 currently in a playoff spot)

Its fine.

Simmer&Stellick on NHL Radio were raving about the game this morning. They thought it was two well-matched teams going at each other. They raved about Chucky’s game and how he was a one man wrecking crew out there. I agree. Full marks to both teams. Imagine if SJS end up in 1st and Vegas plays Calgary in the 1st round?

Brian Burke on the fan just now:

Brian Burke on the Fan960:
- that disallowed goal was unfathomable
- All four of us on the sportsnet panel thought it was a good goal
- All of the contact made was outside of the paint

NHL refs:
- Agree to disagree, NO GOAL! Durrrrr

The crease has been an on ice decoration wince 1999.

The NHL doesn't write down the rules because then they would have to enforce them

A guy who was the president of a team as recently as a year ago doesn't know what the rules if the game are.
