Isco falling off the planet is the surprising one to me. As recent as the World Cup the guy looked great, and now he can’t get in the squad. It’s crazy.
weird things do tend to happen in the season after world cups though. Guys aren’t always for coming into the season because of it and it can hurt the team.

This was inevitable.
As far as I'm concerned though, if I never saw Bale in a Madrid shirt again, I'd be fine with it.

Courtois is the most overrated keeper since:...

just a few short years before you newbed onto the wagon, a fella not too morally dissimilar to yourself in Frank Franco, lobbed peseta's at your beloved cartel.

What a memorable night!
We dominated Real in both matches, and we did it in our own style.
I'm so proud of this team, and Johan would be proud too... It's fitting that the score was 1-4

pointing out a dumb comparison isn't getting triggered, no matter how much you want it to be. Don't be upset, we all do dumb things occasionally.

Regurgitates cliched factual inaccuracies, tells others to do research.
Hilarious.
Start with Sid Lowe, then get back to me. The whole "Franco's Team" stuff is so over. But go ahead and cling to it, since I'm guessing Madrid like killed your father or something? I dunno.

Lopetegui taking that job in the first place is still such a head scratcher. Following Zidane would have been a massive job on its own, but doing it with an ageing squad and without Ronaldo was always going to end in tears. Giving up a top 5 NT job, just to fall on that sword ... I still don't get it.
Maybe Solari bombing as well gives him back some of his reputation, but that's got to be cold comfort at best.

United are sitting way too deep for my comfort. Starting Young/Bailly on the right side hasn't paid off at all, should have been Dalot from the start.

Disaster for Buffon. Well then. Lukaku with the most gifted brace ever.

well I never thought the second half in this tie could still get interesting, but here we are. United should just go for it ... will probably need another gift though and they only have teenagers left on the bench (except Rojo).

That was insane from Mbappe to Di Maria even if it doesn't count.
