More turnovers than a bakery!
Feels like the Flames just want this one over and move on to the next one.

Good thing San Jose, Winnipeg, and to a lesser extent Nashville have had their own goaltending woes. But this is concerning. Especially when they have trouble scoring.
Flames are one of the top scoring teams in the league this year. Yes, they appear to be snakebitten at the moment, but I'm not that worried about it. The mojo will return.

The goalies on the other hand are indeed worrisome. You ain't gonna win a cup with sub-par goaltending.

When was the last time we beat an elite team? I mean a top rated cup favourite. I never thought we were in that category but thought we were getting a bit closer. This is on level of the pens blowout but I wonder if they’ll respond the same way this time.

Much closer. The Flames have had more good scoring chances. Pucks bounce over sticks. They get the bounces. Honestly this game could be 4-3 or 5-3 Flames.

Not getting a goalie mid-season was the right move. It didn’t make sense. That’s a significant position and I think the offseason is the correct time to make a move like that.

We are where we are with these goalies. They’re not perfect but at worst they might cost us 1st in the conference. That’s not a bad problem to have.

They had a bunch of chances when the game was on the line.

This becomes a fruitless exercise because now I say I had read rumours (like, real ones from hockey insiders) about those guys being available up to the deadline, then you say how do they know or how do we know, etc.

But then I counter and say well how do we know others that weren’t reported but that really were available... and on goes the circle. Anyway, it didn’t get done, but I really wished it did.

1st game back from injury and has played rock solid since Valimaki went down. Your bold statement is typical BS commentating during a loss in a gt.
