I think this is a game the hitmen should win...lets hope they come out and play for the full 60 minutes.

The Calgary Hitmen (13-7-4-1) continue their tour through the U.S. division as they visit the Tri-City Americans (8-11-3-0) in tonight's lone Western Hockey League match-up.

The Hitmen, who are currently second in the Central division, are coming off last night's 4-2 win in Seattle and are 2-1 in the first three games of their seven-game road trip. Ryan Getzlaf (15g-14a) leads the hitmen in scoring with 29 points.

The Americans, who currently occupy fourth spot in the U.S. division, have been idle since Saturday's 4-1 loss in Everett and are 4-5-1 in their last 10 outings. Tri-City has scored a Western conference-low 48 goals this season. League-wide, only Swift Current (46 goals) has scored fewer times than the Americans.

It's the first and only meeting of the season between the Hitmen and Americans. In last season's only meeting, the teams skated to a 2-2 tie in Calgary. Calgary has a historical edge over Tri-City, going 8-3-1 in 12 meetings over the last five years.

Tri-City is in trouble, hard to get people out to see game.

High income community.

Some roamers have it going to Edmonton, another roamer is AHL Edmonton would go to Saskatchewan city and a WHL Saskatchewan team would got to Edmonton.

This was a major rumor near the end of last season and into the offseason, the Oilers really want a WHL team but I can't see it happening. WHL commish Rob robson has said the league is happy with 20 teams, and the league finally has a balanced conferences with Everett joining. We might get a team here in edmonton but I would think it would have to be team from sask and I don't see it happening.

I think they meant, when the NHL starts up.

Move the AHL team to Regina or Saskatoon, and move the WHL team to Edmonton. Keeps the league at 20 teams.
