Refs give Hathaway 5 and a game for "intent to injure."
League responds by saying, "no hearing - it wasn't intentional"

Refs say "no goal" in response to the goalie throwing their stick at the puck to stop Ovie.
League calls down and the horn is blown indicating a review, and they change the call to "goal."

Even the league is figuring out that refs suck. I wonder which new and creative way they are going to impact the outcome of tonight's game?

Interesting....the Flames website now calling the James Neal injury upper body. It sure liked like a shoulder when it happened. I still believe this injury stems from the hit into the boards he took against the Caps earlier this season.

Dallas, Fla, AZ and Vancouver. With two shutouts and another with 1 GA (all by MAF). Stone has one assist on a powerplay goal (against the Ducks). I'm not sure he can exactly be credited with the win.

The Knights concern me but more because of MAF if he gets on a roll in the POs. It's really the same with any team (and IMO both Calgary goalies are capable of a run as well - Rittich obviously moreso).

Hope they can start a "Where's your jammies?" chant at the Dome tonight. That should follow Tavares around lol.

Flames are 2nd overall, Vegas should be worried about their upcoming schedule not the other way around

Time for BSD to step up and claim the #1 job. This next stretch of games can defy his career.

Unfortunately, yes.

Flames record against the Knights isn't good.

Have yet to win at T-Mobile, and the only times the Flames beat them were when Subban was started and not pulled and the last day of the 2017-2018 season when the Knights had zero interest.

Not impossible to win, and the Flames could blow their doors off both times. Who knows. But just the same, the chances are good the Flames lose both, yes.

Oddly enough I hope this is the case. Neal wasn't exactly a speed demon before the injury. Hate to see him trying to come back from anything that could hamper that further.

Is the game actually starting at 9pm out East? Ha!

Also lest we all forget, Leaf's fans were complete obnoxious d-bags after the last couple games against them. Read the ATL reports to see. I never really had anything against the Leafs before. After reading some of the stuff they wrote, they can suck an egg.

I hope Tavares gets his jammies chant, the Leafs lose in a blowout, and the ATL report is extra salty!

Hope that Rittich plays a really good game and takes back the net.

Eight games, one loss, and now the season needs to be "saved"?

What in the hell?

Three home games where they are lights out and a road win against the worst team in the Western Conference. I would say the jury is still definitively out on the effectiveness of the Mark Stone trade for now.

I follow several people on Twitter from Toronto for their Blue Jays stuff, so I always love it when the Leafs and Flames play to see their asinine takes on the game.

I disagree. It makes no sense for Flames fans to taunt Tavares. This is NYI's schtick.
