I’ve lost track...is this 8, 10 or 12 points that Smith has directly cost the Flames?

** Not 100% on Smith for the 3rd goal, but he has done absolutely nothing to help the cause this game. Goal #2 is 100% on him, goal #3, a legit starter makes that save.

Yeah, because other than capitalizing on a couple gaffes they've been dominated by the Flames. I don't want to dominate a team in the first round because Minnie will always have horseshoes.

they were doing fine, game took shape as their last 4 wins. not their fault smith just straight up gifted the wild the go ahead goal

I mean, that's all they ever do. But you let them hang around for 2 periods and they're going to crank the gumming up to another level for the third period.

Anderson wouldn't have done that stupid pinch if we weren't down a goal.

it's not a body of work, it's teams that are bottom third in goal scoring.

Been fairly impressed with Zucker tonight

To bad the flames signed Neal

That cap hit just seems to be limiting this team so much

If Flames lose, it's solely on Smith costing us yet another game.

May as well pull Smith now, if he’s not going to be in the net anyway at least we can have the extra attacker

Then they might want to score more than 1 goal...no?

Ugh, game over. Not gonna blame Smith on that last goal, as it was a hell of a shot. It's just one of those nights. Flames should have been up by at least 5 goals with all the grade A chances they've had tonight, especially in the first two periods.

Yea, Smith's gaffe was terrible. But the Flames' inability to capitalize on countless chances is the real reason we're losing tonight. Not to mention Dubnyk has been outstanding.

Silver lining: Minny winning tonight totally screws the Oilers.
