I've decided I'm not gonna be too upset if we lose, as 2 Minnesota points would completely nullify the Oilers victory over the BJs. So even if we lose, we make life harder on the Oilers.

A) keep Rittich hungry for playing time
B) keep Rittich stats at check to lower his negotiation leverage
C) they like Smith for whatever reason
A) would be rational, B) is pure business and smart in long run, but hurts the team this season, C) has no explanation. Make your pick.
