Smith is overdoing it tonight, but it's silly to overlook his body of recent good work on the basis of one gaffe.

Like I said, I am glad he is playing better. But Rittich needs starts and it is insane that he’s not getting them.

Do you do this to play devils advocate? That's an honest question.

It's not at all silly to overlook his body of work. The guy is flushing his positive play down the drain by consistently giving up goals that the no business being goals, have no chance of being a goal if he'd only stay in his net.

It's not just one gaff, it's a pattern.
