I mean I get that you need to be careful with your shots on a 5 on 3 (missed net or blocked shot can mean loss of zone control), but it’s the last minute of the period. Put something on net!

i blame Monahan more for disappearing lately, he seems really off again...maybe even lindholm as well or whoever Peters puts out there. I see him trying to create, looking , but there's nothing there, a large part of that is on the teammates. If they aren't doing #### out there Johnny is gonna look ####ty too. They are just struggling a bit and i don't care because we are winning and as long as they get going before playoffs its' fine.

The thing with Johnny I noticed is people expect him to be a wizard every game and do everything himself,...well he can't do that and no one in this league can do that all the time. Give the kid a break, he controls the play and drives the play like no one else in this league.

It's been a really hard month of travel and they're on a back to back to end this trip.

I don't think they're playing up to their ability but there are mitigating circumstances. At least the top line looks to be coming around.
