Kenny Agostino is their 2nd line LW? Wow! What a terrible group, I hope we destroy them tonight. More slappers from Raz and more goals!

That is an ugly ugly lineup, wow. Even worse than the Sens?
Point night for the Flames. Top line wakes up.

Win tonight and we have a seven point lead on the Sharks?
Seven point lead for the #1 spot in the Western Conference?
Seven?

I do think that some times teams like the Senators can be tough outs down the stretch.
Veteran teams that are out of the playoffs tend to be easier outs since they aren't skilled or working hard, but it's tough to out work a team filled of AHL call ups that are just trying to get a foot in the door for a spot next season.
Actually probably why the Senators looked much worse last night after they re-introduced Duclair, Boedker, Ceci, etc back into the lineup. Those guys have nothing to play for, compared to guys like Batherson, Brown, Chalpik, etc who want to prove they are NHLers.
Similar to that 13/14 Flames team that went 13-9-0 down the stretch after the trade deadline even though they were 22-30-7 up to that point of the season prior to that.

I like the rest of your points but he is a good #2 center on our team and I like it.
The confidence of Raz and the rest of the young guys is awesome, maybe not winning the cup this year but I think they have a great chance at it. Should be a fun ride!

Yeah I agree, I think Backlund's great, and I watch the work he does, scoring or not, and I see a guy who is just tremendously smart and savvy and a hell of a hard worker. But there's people around who think he sucks because he doesn't get 30 goals every year. Whaddya do?
BTW was listening to 960 and they mentioned that earlier in the year he was likely injured, he had said at some event that he couldn't even shake hands with his right hand. So maybe what we're seeing is that he's gotten through something, but even then, he looks more dangerous and engaged to me now than ever before.

Oooooo.
Loubardias is passively aggressively calling out Pinder for his "hot takes" on Mike Smith.

The new guy has played 71 NHL games these past two seasons, Dalton Prout has only played 47 NHL games during these past three seasons.

It wasn't pretty, but it *was* a win.
