What a game! That was a fun one.

Stop the bickering already. The best season in like 30 years and a six game winning streak and people are bitching. Wow.

Anyway, Smith was great again tonight and I can’t believe I am saying that, I was sure he was done as a NHL player, I was wrong. I’m so happy that none of us are the GM for this team.

Ps Neal will be just fine. Why can’t we have nice things?

Lol CNN has been taking Trump down because that's their political agenda...

I'm betting he survives all the bad press and investigations and is re-elected.

Now let's just talk about awesome things like the Flames!

James Neal has played more hockey games than anybody the last two years. I hope he comes back energized.

i appreciate this unbiased non-continuance of a political distraction on this hockey forum in the process of celebrating a win streak.

What a fun season this continues to be. I'm really just enjoying taking it all in. It feels special.

Whether or not we go deep in the playoffs, I'm appreciating my time right now.

One guy that I think needs more props is Eat Bread. I always looked at him as a guy that was easily replaceable, even out of place at times earlier this season. But he looks way more comfortable lately, made some nice really simple plays tonight.

Man, the depth of this team this year is awesome.

He has really amped up his play! Glad he wasn't part of a deadline trade! Such tenacity and skill. Scouts really have hit some home runs lately.

He’s been great since the all star break. I can’t see Lazar displacing him at this point. what’s his ceiling? middle 6?

I don't even consider responding to most of the silly takes lol, I just chuckle and move along to the next more intelligent post.
Flames top line isn't playing amazing like they were, but that will sort itself out. What's really awesome is the depth scoring! Our depth will really shine in playoffs.

Breadnom's got to keep putting up points to break in full time.

I will say he has found a new gear from where he was at before. Starting to figure out the NHL level it looks like. Hopefully Dube follows suit.

Probably. He's shown in years past he has some nice offensive potential, but I don't think he'll ever be a steady top 6 guy. Top 9 probably and a guy that can fill in here and there. Still fairly valuable, imo.

Agreed! Mangiapane has been terrific and it's been interesting to see his trajectory. He is better than Dube IMO.

Well put. The fact the Carolina is also coming on strong is a bonus for me as well. I’m happy to see Ferland and Hamilton picking up their game and playing well for them. Hope they make it. It’s so much easier to cheer those ex Flames in when the Flames have benefited so much out of the trade already
