Great road win, 3 grinding victories in a row. I thought the botched 5 on 3 would be it for them but they were really resilient stuck with it. Great effort to put up 3 on the best defensive team in the league in their own barn.

Nice game by Smith, really hope he's not hurt, but Rittich can definitely provide solid starts as takes whatever time he needs.

Brodie with a god-like 90% expected goals for in 18 minutes of ice time.

Noticed Andersson in a good way tonight. Seems to be thriving with increased responsibility. Held a tight gap and made few mistakes in the defensive zone, outside of one pretty bad turnover - but that's just what happens when puck moving defenders play a lot.

Excited to see Fanterberg tomorrow, everything I've read about him makes me think he will fit in seamlessly

Give it to Trotz. No one saw Isles being a ragtag elite team.

And that trophy has some curse on it. Recent winners have lost their jobs a year or two after they received the award.

2018 - Gallant - still there
2017 - Totrtorella - still there but if they screw up in Round 1 again, watch him be fired
2016 - Trotz - resigned in 2018
2015 - Hartley - fired in 2016
2014 - Roy - resigned in 2016
2013 - MacLean - fired in 2015

It's nice, but I'd rather have Peters in here for many years to come...

I don't see a reason why they can't make it 11 in a row with those teams up next.

MSG network post-graduation coverage is good. Wish Sportsnet would/could produce something like this for Flames' games

I didn't know that Brodie and Prout were defense partners in junior. Makes a lot of sense then to play them together.

It's hard to tell at times in game thread if the Flames are on 6 game winning streak, or 6 game losing streak.

Great road game. Great game by Smith
