Flames need to aim for the 1st in the Pacific.
Let Vegas and SJ duke it out. Between Nyquist, Kane, Karlsson (SJ) vs Stone (VGK); one of those two teams can eliminate each other and all their various additions.

I'm ok with it. Tre has proven he will pay a price to get his guy, and I have faith the price was just too high.
As many have pointed out, we have some issues that Stone does not address - playoff inexperience and goaltending.
If we win the division, VGK/SJ will have paid hefty prices to play one round.

By already being better than them.............they didn't win the Western Conference with this Flames team in it last year.
