All of thee proposals are based around Treliving getting permission to speak with Stone's agent. They were clear they won't pay the price unless we're adding a core piece, not a rental.

I would imagine at this stage Trevilving has in fact been given permission to speak with his agent and likely has a good idea if a deal can be reached.

Typically they get announced up till about 4:30 EST (2:30 Mountain), even though the talking heads often say "no more trades to announce" once it hits 3pm on the dot.

He's already an NHLer and has borderline elite skating. He's not a throw in, nor is he degrees less good than Andersson and Valimaki. I think all three are as close to untouchable as it gets, unless the return is a star player (Stone) extended. I'd rather add an extra pick to the deal than lose of those three kids.

Because Andersson looks like he's going to be a top pairing d-man sooner than we thought, and Valimaki looked absolutely fantastic in his rookie season until his injury. Kylington looks good too, but of the three he's the easiest to let go of IMO.

I dont think its necessarily the money. Hes a good player and is going to get paid if he hits UFA one way or another, its rumoured that he doesnt want to waste prime years of his career toiling for an underachieving and rebuilding team.
