This is the easiest two points you could possibly be handed by a team.

My guess is the boys wanted to fight almost for the fun of it and Keith (and likely both coaches would agree) said no.

Not since the Primeau brothers fought back 20+ years ago has there been a brother scrap.

So its basically guaranteed to happen because kids always listen to their dad.

Personally, I hope it doesnt. Theres no sense in Matt fighting, we're looking to the playoffs and Brady is looking to the off-season, nobody needs to get injured.

I'm worried about this game, not just because of the focus on the Tkachuk family storyline, thats fine, but because of the disparity between the two teams, the link because of the trade deadline, potential rust for Rittich.

Lets just settle down and win. This game has everything going for the Flames, its a game that we should win, these are the types of games we typically lose.

Just win and move along.

Flames' magic number is 11. They cannot clinch until it's mathematically impossible for Minnesota to catch them.

Really? I'd imagine the Sutters fought more recently than that, but I could be wrong.

The math aside, Minny doesn't matter. The only teams that can knock the flames out of the three Pacific seeds in a pacific team. So flames magic number is tied to Arizonas and Vancouvers.

Other than the mentioned Wild with 104 point max, Flames magic number is technically 103 points since Yotes max points is 103. Flames closer to clinching 3rd in Pacific vs.second wildcard spot. Flames magic number of games is 10. So each time Flames win or Yotes / Nucks lose, that hits that. Flames might actually clinch a spot in the next two weeks.

They could get 104 points

Against his old team? Absolutely.

It might be telling in a way if he draws in for Mangiapane, now that I think of it. Could be a precursor to a possible trade including #88.

Don't know if the Sutters ever fought in the NHL, this is the closest I found, at end of a 1992 playoff game, , where all three Sutters were involved.

Brodie back with Gio. Bennett moved up to 2 line RW. Forlik down to 3rd line LW. Rittich starts. Kylington back in with Andersson.

Derek Wills @Fan960Wills
#Flames projected lines and pairings vs. #Senators:

Gaudreau-Monahan-Lindholm
Tkachuk-Backlund-Bennett
Frolik-Jankowski-Czarnik
Mangiapane-Ryan-Hathaway

Giordano-Brodie
Hanifin-Hamonic
Kylington-Andersson

Rittich (Starter)
Smith

Good. Glad to get Lindholm back on the top line from the start, I know Peters put them together halfway through Friday.

A change up is fine for a couple games, but JG and SM looked a little lost without Elias.

Hopefully Rittich is good after his break.

Dangerous way to think. Ottawa beat the Jets twice this month, and our first line has been ice cold. This could easily turn into a trap game

It'd be pretty awesome if the two scrapped, then in interviews they both say, "I gotta get out of here and backup my bro in fighting my dad."
