What about loading them up with a ton of picks?
Like 1st, 2nd, conditional 1st and Mangiapane

Tough I know, but getting Stone will cause some pain somewhere.

Dube and kylington would probably be NHL starting job ready next season.
If that means one first instead of two and verbal agreement on a re-sign then ..maybe.

I think a person can throw away the idea conditional picks. Flames don't do the deal without an extension in place, so that condition is already met.

IMO you don’t move Kylington for anyone. Who are we to know if he’s not gonna end up better than valimaki? Rather keep both.
Move dube and whatever roster player needed for stone

I've never understood the need to put first names on jerseys. Isn't the same last name and different number enough?

Whatever roster player needed?
So Bennett?

Also chances are high you lose kylington in expansion. So putting him towards getting you over the top isn't the worst thing. Otherwise you enjoy another season of him and whatever comes of that. Depends on how much of a factor you think he can be for you in the near future.

Among the U25s on roster I would move Jankowski, Andersson, and Mangiapane before Kylington or Bennett.

The Regehr brothers only had their surnames on their jerseys.

The Sens haven’t given permission for teams to talk to Stone as far as I know. No extension is possible without that. I don’t like it either, it makes him a UFA that costs assets.

Conditions aren't always just to do with extensions. A lot of the time they are based on how deep a team goes in the playoffs.

IE The Russell trade - if Dallas made the WCF, that 2nd would have been a 1st.

Kyper sees Winnipeg and Calgary as two best options for Stone - but wonders if any GM will pay the price. And Hayes is Plan B for both.

So would I. Well unsure about Kylington vs Andersson.
But Dube and a roster player for stone? If I'm Ottawa, that roster player has to be Bennett, plus pick.
And i'm not very interested in that.

Kypreos says the market is drying up for Stone because ask is too high
would like mirror Duchene deal but problem is the prospects in that deal are maybe B and Cs, but with Stone asking for grade A prospects-guys that can play away
Winnipeg is at the top, followed closely by Calgary, with Nashville and Boston on the outside looking in

Acquiring Stone would make us HUGE contenders.
Spend the 1st. I want Stone on this team.
Move Frolik + prospect + 2019 1st for Stone.

Meh, let the jets have him. Laugh all the way to the bank when you acquire two good players for the price of one stone.

I’m quite pleased if the Sens screw the pooch and can’t move Stone.

Man, we were one stupid Lehtonen meltdown from Carter Hart.

Yeah but didn't we use that pick for Dube? I'm not complaining how things worked out
