How out of touch with reality do you have to be to make a comment like that, let alone believe it?

That's something that HFOil bats around a lot, like they really believe it. The delusions over there are eye opening.

We saw quite a few people wearing Boychuk jerseys including what appeared to be his immediate family - 4 people sitting in the first row behind the net in the offensive zone (perhaps, parents and grandparents?). At some point in the 2nd period, Hamonic and Boychuk got entangled behind the net and fell down on ice together right in front of them. Then I noticed that instead of cursing at each other, both guys were laughing and then Hamonic said something and waived at Boychuk's family behind the glass and they waived back. I thought that was a very classy and good example of sportsmanship.

This is where you know people are posting on reputation. The Flames can no longer be classified as physical, which I don't think is bad at all with a focus on speed and skill. But really the lowest team (by far) in hits can't be considered physical. Flames have 887 hits, the next lowest is Toronto with 992. Pittsburgh leads with 1763.

One thing I know to be true from years of hearing about it through various media outlets is every building in the league has their own statisticians tracking things like hits, blocked shots etc. Calgary has always been known to be extremely objective when it comes to tracking hits in particular and not nearly as liberal (specifically when it comes to tracking the home teams stats) as many other buildings around the league.
I'm not saying that is why we are last, and do think we could use some more grit in the lineup, but its probably why we are so far behind Toronto..
We likely have the fairest, most unbiased statisticians in the league!

Scanned through the NYI broadcast and caught on the Clutterbuck hit on Andersson that Bennett from the bench was trying to get at him and was being held back by Tkachuk.
Love seeing that passion from this team.

Very surprised not to see Rittich. Playing the hot hand is great, but still gotta give your 1a/1b some starts.
Mike Smith stopping pucks behind the net is good. Him going to the sidewall with 2 islanders forechecking, then passing it forwards still scares the bejasus out of me.
Backlund deserves an embellishment call as much as Greiss does when he fell down.
I really wouldn't mind Neal as the 13th man when he comes back.

Peters got in there to stop Sam too.
Looks like he was holding his big angry dog back on a leash.

I am loving Sam more and more, he is an intense guy. He is going to be a beast in the playoffs. I don't see him backing down from too many guys in the western conference. Looking at the wildcard race, I hope the coyotes get in the 8th seed so we can play them. I think Benny will walk all over those guys.
Love it, love that Peters knows this team so well already. This team is fun.

Danny Oh with her another banger of a game refereed against the flames. Honestly guys, this guy has it out for the Flames it’s blatantly obvious now. The guy goes out of his way to make dog#### calls, he needs to be held accountable now, he’s gonna end up burning us in the playoffs I have a bad feeling.

Peters has a pretty good tug on the back of his jersey if you look how his collar was down and as he’s falling back it’s all pulled up tight around his neck

Looks like he says something along the lines of "down boy..." lol Sam's his pitbull.
Sam is also saying something like "yeah I'll f-ing fight you" to clutterbuck
