Net was off, how was that a screwing?

The legit complaint is the tying goal.

Big stick tap to the refs in that one. Really held the Sharks to a single point.

Looks like Jones is back to sub .900 goaltending? Good news for us.

net was clearly off the mooring... caused by Kane himself.

the Refs were blowing it dead when SJ got possession

Kane with a real all-star shift in OT there.

1) Knocks the net off
2) Forgets that he knocked the net off, shoots the puck after the whistle
3) Slew foots McAvoy but loses the puck battle
4) Sees a 3 on 2 against and thinks "#### it" and changes

If your net's off in OT you may as well pull your goalie then.

Or not!

Also, poetic justice on Kane there - brutal line change to make it a 3 on 2 for the winner.

I thought the ref was gonna put the net back on. He was skating towards the net when play was going up ice. Maybe he was just checking to see if it was actually off? Usually I’ve seen a linesman just put it back on.

why?

the net off its mooring on the Boston end doesn't affect play in the SJ end - Boston isn't benefiting from it... once SJ got possession and was headed down ice, the net being off does affect play.

Hence the whistle

The Sharks got away with a lot in that game. I would call it pretty even.

I'm indifferent to Thornton. It's Kane I hate...mostly because he's a Flames killer, but also because he's a giant d-bag.

I thought the line change was fine. He was clearly gassed and the guy coming on the ice is already a few steps ahead.

He's a whiny toddler, and sneaky dirty too. I can't stand him. Kane and Meier are giant dbs too.

You're giving the team who's net is off essentially a delayed penalty situation where the other team can't take advantage of a bad turnover or giveaway.

Good to see SJ lose. But Vegas looks like they can be taken in the first round. Hmmm...

I'm pretty sure if you pull your goalie in OT, you get your "loser point" taken away if you lose. I don't think this has ever happened but I'm certain that is the repercussion.
