I think Burakovsky has the talent to show a lot more than he has. I think the same but greater about Wennberg. I think if Wennberg came here he would be significantly better than he’s shown.

What's the draw for Burakovsky? I know stats don't tell the whole story, but theyre rather underwhelming for a guy some seem to be plugging on to the second line?
Is it just buying low on a guy who might need a change of scenery? Is this going to be another Lazar?

Yes, I would much prefer Wennberg over Burakovsky.
Would probably cost more, but I think it would be worth it.

Ya Wennberg had that one big season with Foligno and hasnt been able to get back there. I wouldnt be upset if we took a gamble on him.

Burakovsky would be a huge get IMO.
Big boys like that are tough to shut down in a long run. And quite frankly I thought he had a stellar cup run appearance with the caps.
And, he fits right into the "cost controlled" asset alley tree opperates in.
If we fans looked at more players like this instead of the big time UFA targets, we will have a better picture of what Treliving will likely do.

Meh. Feel like that'd be a downgrade.
If we wanna move Frolik for the sake of it I would be looking at Namestnikov. Not only is he a better two way player he is only a season removed from being the third wheel on the best line in the league. That'd be a great fit with 3M. Or as I would call it, M-n-M

This is what happens when people talk about something like it is fact when in reality they have no idea about details of the person, or situation. Happens far too often IMHO. We saw these sort of comments about Brodie, brutal!!; That said. there is always hope that people will rationalize.

All teams are different.
He is slotted in to an organization with some veteran leadership, and a long established core including a future hall of famer and a Norris winning defenseman. Or two now, it seems.
Perhaps he doesn’t slot as well with a younger team where he feels he is top dog or sets the example.

Happy birthday!
Too bad the Flames weren’t playing tonight so they could give you an 8-5 win in your honour.

Somehow I don’t feel like Buff had the right leadership “style” for Kane.

Flames should be looking for a good two way winger who can pk IMO. Hathaway and Frolik just haven't got it done consistently. If washington wants frolik for a younger cost controlled player yhen I say yes please. Does Burakovsky play pk?

Winnipeg has interest in all three including Stone, Duchene and Dzingel.
