They should change their name to the Tropics

Those jerks are now a point up on Pittsburgh for the second wild card spot.

John Shorthouse for permanent announcer later Saturday night game. Unbiased, aware, great call of game. Even watching the odd regional Canucks game, its always him having to reign in Garrett then any sort of bias in his part.

100x better then the melodramatic and thinly veiled homer and apologist to the Oilers, Canucks, and tonight, Habs, Randorf...who also tries very hard and out of his way, to make those sound bites that Snet can use later (as Rod Balck does for TSN) in highlight pack and snippets for commercials.

Markstrom looks fantastic.

I’ve watched Vancouver in person in Las Vegas and Calgary this season and honestly wouldn’t want to play them in round 1.

Yeah, Canucks are about as easy a first round match up as you can get. Markstrom can't save 50 every game.

Pettersen with one of the worst plays you'll see on that sequence. On his butt from behind his own net and throws it right up the middle. Was almost too good to be true for Sharks and they flubbed it.

I guess that’s why we are 1-3 against them this year.

They remind me of the “find away Flames” back in the first year of Tre.

I was going to post the same thing - the ice must be dreadful in that arena as pucks are bouncing all over the place as well.

If they have 70% chance of winning round 1

Then they only have a 1 in 9 chance of taking the cup, but i’d be putting much money them at 9/1 (subjective chances for illustration purposes only)
They're the favorites by far, but the play-offs are a long haul, and an injury or two can happen. As good a team as they are you still have to have a lot of things go right. But they're definitely the team to take if you had to choose.

Knights already have 38 shots, and the second period isn't even over

Personally I don't care at all for them, but clearly the fans at the arena are having blast, so who am I (or anyone else) to tell them it's silly?

Why is it not sustainable?

Well they're 58 games into the season, it's not like this is week 3.
