Never bloody nitpick when you win a road game in Pittsburgh when 87 is playing.

To take this thread in a different direction...

The Powerplay needs to be a bit more creative then a drop pass to Johnny EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Seriously, the guy is unreal, but its pretty much the same playbook leftover from GG (minus Brouwer).

Would love to see these guys get a bit more creative on Zone entry, if for no other reason then doing the same exact thing over and over.

Put the 2 points in the bank and come on home boys.

Wasn't pretty but we've played better and come away with less over the past 5 games.

Ryan is really finding his game. Still love what Benny brings and like rasmooose sticking up for capt.

This was one of Sam Bennett's best games as a Flame IMO

Hi, welcome to Calgary Puck, where the problems are made up and the wins don't matter.

Solid and spirited road win. Bennett was great. Ryan and Smith too.

Only the Pens' PP kept them close, and that was also due in no small part to some intriguing reffing.

Oh, Pens fans think that? It must be true.
LOL!

I think Smith had an NHL level performance for a backup goaltender. It was good enough for us to win. More worried about the lack of gas in the third as usually the Flames are the better conditioned team but its fallen off a bit since the All Star break. PK hasn't been good either.

Lol at the mob jumping on Red. Vicious here.

Flames got an absolute ton of puck luck.

It started with that masterpiece by Mangiapane.
It ended with Bennett. If Pittsburgh doesn’t get a stick on Ryan’s pass, Bennett had overskated it. That was the GWG.

Not to mention the lucky bounces on the other 3.

Murray wasn’t in position and beaten cleanly by any shots, was he?

This game was a ‘start the car’ special for sure.

Glad for the win, but find it’s really weird what other peoples’ take home was.

Default Flames beat Pens! End Losing Streak!

Weird game today. Thought the Flames got the bounces today that they haven’t been getting for weeks now. But I thought Pittsburgh was the better team overall, yet they managed to only score when they had the man advantage. Strange game, but the getting the win to end the road trip is what matters. 4 points in 4 games looks pretty good ultimately.
