Pep, you beat me to it!

For those waiting for the latest instalment of The Puppet Chronicles, there IS a video made and waiting to be processed (there appears to be some problems with YouTube this morning). Once it's up, I'll edit it in.

 Go Flames

edit: Youtube must be dealing with an infestation of gremlins this morning - either that or a billion users are trying to upload at the same time - because this thing ain't moving.

Afternoon game against a proper powerhouse in the East, and the Flames have been slumping. Recipe for disaster, ergo:

 Flames win this convincingly 5-2

Will miss this one since I'm at work. Expecting the Flames to play hard after having a lackluster week. Go Flames Go!

8th place....1 pt ahead of Carolina from being outside looking in.

These are not the same Penguins of years past.

Still, any time you are against Sid and Malkin, you better be paying attention to details or you will get burned as we saw in October.

Much like the Flames their issue is playing good team defense at times.

4-3 Flames in OT with Tkachuk breaking his slump and netting the winner.

PIT have excellent players but so does CGY. I will be looking to see CGY get back into the rhythm that had them playing tremendous hockey.

As crazy as it sounds, I think they’ve been playing better during this losing streak than the 5-6 games prior to the All-star break. Hopefully they capitalize on more chances today.

Yes you're correct. They have played some good hockey but just didn't score. Confidence is so streaky but they can build it through details and really it is about rhythm or swagger
