Bobrovsky is not going to come here. He controls where he goes.

Ummm, no. If Calgary gets Mark Stone, they keep Mark Stone. I don't think Calgary has any interest in Bob (and v/v)

I stick with my belief that there’s never this much smoke around a Flames trade under Treliving. I think anything that happens will seemingly come out of nowhere and not be one of the big rumoured gets. It may be major but we’ll all be like whaaaaa?

Lol settle down. It's not like he said anything wrong either, he simply stated Dreger is mega unreliable.

Just a thought because our goaltending is not that good.

If we landed Stone with the cost it will take I surely hope we wouldn’t then flip him in an attempt to acquire Bobrovsky who would have no desire of playing in Calgary past this year IMO. I’m hoping for Stone; work your magic Tre !

I thought when he was getting Hamilton there was a fair bit of smoke. There was with the Neal signing too.

Rittich has been better than Bobrovsky this year. By far.

I am settled lol and actually he wasn’t just saying that at all he corrected me because I said Dreger then went on saying my post was unreliable.

Same with the Lindholm/Hanifin trade. There was all sort of talk that connected them to Calgary weeks before the draft.

I'd rather the flames try to get Lehner than Bob.

Why would the Isles even consider that right now?

Do you mean in a trade? I think Lehner is the definition of "untouchable" on that NYI roster.

Islanders are the top of their division and he’s having a Vezina caliber season. We’re more likely to get Matt Murray or Brayden Holtby than Lehner.

I'd be real upset if Flames acquired Stone just to flip him for Brobrovsky. Guy is a head case, and won't be any better for the Flames come playoff time. Stone would be a much better impact for the team than Bobrovsky.

Would love Stone, but the cost might be too prohibitive. To try to re-sign Stone would be tough with the current cap crunch as well. I’d also only consider Howard if he can be had for a mid round pick, if not, then I think there might be cheaper insurance policies.

I’d say no to Howard. Too American and his numbers are average. Quick on the other hand with money retained, or something? Still American though... not that it matters

"Too American"?
What does that mean?
