I know it feels like that, but the Flames were really, really good on Saturday night.

Jankowski has to just jam that at the net and not do a spin. Get a dirty goal.

Just keep working away at it. Really liked the bottom-six in that period, Ryan and Frolik especially.

I honestly don't notice the production issues. Streaming is way worse for me.

No “shots” at Smith for a whole period. Remarkable.

i don't understand... what happened to their team press and defensive coverage these past couple of games?

Scoring chances - what, 0-0?

Wonder why there are no fans.

That was maybe the most blah period I've seen in a while. Never felt like either team was trying to do much of anything. If this was pre-break Flames, I wouldn't be surprised if we were up 3 already.

Tkachuk going from an over a point per game player to a non scorer that regularly turns pucks over in the neutral zone has made a rather large impact on the teams total game.

That was an okay road period. I think the players must be feeling the pressure of the streak and it’s affecting their passes and entries, many of which haven’t been especially crisp. Loosen up!

I was ready to give up on Mangiapane before the ASG, but he looks much better to me these past few games.

Boring 1st period, but that's fine, win ugly.

Terrible sound, how is it that it's only the Flames broadcasts? Do the Flames broadcasts get all of the old used equipment for games? I could switch to Florida, but then I'd have to listen to Denis Potvin, which is like nails on a chalkboard bad. I'll stick with amateur hour.

Anyone notice our boys playing dump and chase all period. Not the brand I’m used to seeing this season.

Huge step for Smith not to give up a goal in a first period. Can't remember the last time he did that.

Maybe since yesterday was a CBA mandated day off, and Peters couldn’t bag skate them, this is an alternative punishment

Would really have had to get out of the way to do that

Just YouTubed Echo and the Bunnymen. Seemed appropriate given the quality of sound and play in the first. Now conflicted as to which is worse to listen to.
